Leadership Development, Coaching & Support
Have you ever heard the phrase, "Culture eats strategy for lunch" ?
Sankalpa Consulting recognizes that the best-laid organizational development plans can quickly and easily go awry without strong, grounded leadership and engaged employees and stakeholders. That is why we work with leaders, in teams and as individuals, to develop the skills, dispositions, approaches, and processes that create and sustain healthy and productive work cultures. In addition to the stand-alone trainings described below, we also offer leadership coaching for individuals and teams, and can custom-design training and other services based upon client needs and our extensive expertise from throughout the field of leadership and organizational development.
Leadership Team Development: Improving Communication, Resolving Conflict
An organization’s culture has a powerful influence on the degree and quality with which employees perform their duties. A positive, open culture is directly related to high employee engagement, while a closed, negative culture leads to lost productivity. The way that leaders handle communication, conflict and decision-making directly impacts organizational culture and employee engagement. In this training, leaders will learn key skills and approaches for improving employee relationships, organizational culture, and departmental outcomes.
This training helps individuals and leadership teams as they:
1. Understand different groups of employees and their motivations;
2. Improve communication with and between employees and supervisors/leadership;
3. Develop and implement leadership plans to incorporate the above learning.

Strengths-based Leadership
Too often, our leadership and supervision becomes oriented around correcting weaknesses and flaws. What possibilities does strengths-based leadership and supervision hold? Extensive research conducted by the Gallup Organization has shown that strengths-oriented leadership and supervision lead to more engaged employees, lower turn-over, and higher productivity. This workshop offers an introduction to this compelling model, and will help your team learn to appreciate and draw-on each others strengths in order to provide strengths-based leadership to your organization. Specifically, learn to:
•Reconnect with your “ideal leadership self” and learn how it intersects with your strengths;

•Understanding your own strengths and how to take maximum advantage of them;
•Developing Strengths-based Leadership as a management and leadership tool;
